Ideas for a name for the new Ubuntu based Computerbank linux distribution
I think the requirements of the name should be that it is: Easy to remember and can stand alone. Does not need to mention the word linux or Computerbank.. The blurb after the name can do that. Should succinctly reflect the OS's main feature which in this case is ease of use for clients by using point and click to get all their jobs done.
My name suggestions in rough order of preference are as follows:
UClick? means what it says. One click and its done or you click and its done. PACLin? Point and click linux Clixsus You click and it works Clicksus UFI User Friendly Interface pronounced as You Fi PACLinux? ditto but breaks one of the above rules for a name. ClickUnto? reference to Ubunto ClickOnto? ClickOn2? click on to this linux Clon2 Click on to ETULin? easy to use linux.
So for UClick? we can advertise as The UClick? OS from Computerbank. An Ubuntu based linux distribution. You click and the job's done. or You click and the job gets done.
A blurb could be put out on our Web site: Computerbank has just released their new linux distribution the UClick? OS based on the Ubunto distribution. We could include the version number. We could outline the features of this new distro emphasising its point and click ease of use etc.
Other advert headlines could be: UClick? the linux you click to get things done. UClick? the Linux OS that you click to get things done or jobs done. UClick? OS the linux thats nice and simple to use. UClick? a linux that will click with you. UClick? the better Ubunto.

Tony
my suggestion is that since we are building from a distro that gets its name from a traditional african word we should consider a tradional aborigional word for ours.
my suggestion:
ALKIRA aboriginal for bright, sunny
