Another crazy busy month. In one week we gave out sixteen computers in just two days. In a separate week we had around eight instances of support in a day!
Four updated computers a printer and a router with a print server have been
rolled out at Agg St. An ADSL connection has been installed - they were running on dial up for the past four years. A fifth computer is still to be deployed but space is an issue. Our
trial of ddclient for automated IP updating has been going well and
will also be depolyed at Holmes St.
Seven computers were given to Vic Community Support Network (VCSN) who run a work for the dole project. We also loaned eleven computers for a Vic Women in ICT event. Participants learned about building computer, by all accounts the event was very successful. Photos online soon.
EFTPOS has made its way to Computerbank, many thanks to Jan and Allan for organising this.
We received a good donation from Denton Corker Marshall,many items are still coming from individuals. We are still doing e-waste pick ups, sometimes these result in computers and other items.
While we have around nine people listed on our Work for the Dole project only one or two people are attending regularly. For the past few weeks this has not changed. We are still managing to achieve quite a lot despite the low attendance.
Ebay sales are going well with lots of items being moved out, we are also seeing items being processed more quickly. A record listing day was had when eleven items were put up for auction.

list says and how much paperwork there is. The stock list has 64
computers listed as sold. 1 was a laptop that was recycled due to
dying. Odd.
