beat it out of him, or as we get news to hand! I'll chain him to the desk if
i have to!)

REMINDER!!!!!
Yep, tis nearly that time of year, when if you've been good, Santa bringeth
hardware and such:) So lets have an end of year CAI-SA vols, members, and all
their family type picnic/get together.
Now, we think we should picnic somewhere more central - perhaps Bonython Park
or somewhere. Or up here in the Hills is damned glorious - The Mt Lofty
Botanic Gardens is good, and the local Lions Park with creek and playground
and BBQ area is very attractive.
Lets have a vote on it, and work on a date! All ideas to Romana by 26/11/02.
General News:
Dale Long to be Web Coordinator, and to be working with the incredbly talented
Rodney on the new SA site. Dale to also do content updates as required, and
maintenance. If curious re new site : http://notsa.cbnsw.org.au/
Comments to list please....lets try and involve everyone!
Projects:
We have had a request from the Gvt of East Timor to assist in providing a
number of computers for their way cash and resource strapped Welfare dept.
Romana had a phone conference with the two reps from East Timor and the reps
from Dept FACS, Darwin. Peter Gossner and Joseph Tan to assess viability and
run this project.
Recipients:
One went last week, at least one, hoping more, this week go out. Backlog down
to 6 individuals. Yay. Planning to clear before Xmas!
Hardware:
Peter too busy to write lengthy reports! He is working miracles with
recalcitrant hardware, and his attention to detail (don't ask how thoroughly
he cleans power supplies even, tis scary the attention to detail!!!)
He is being ably assisted by Tony, doing wonders testing all cards....
Remember to vote if you can peeps!
